Meet Nicole, Veterinary Assistant

I was born and raised in the Okanagan and moved to Kelowna in 2020. Growing up, you would find me volunteering at Critteraid in Summerland, helping take care of and spending time with all the adoptable cats.

This led me to adopt my boys Monkey and Oscar. Monkey is a very sassy but loving domestic short hair, and Oscar is a giant fur ball of a cuddle bug. We also have Finnigan, our goofy Border Collie/Akbash dog, who loves to play around with the cats.

I have always wanted to be surrounded by animals. So much in fact, that in my kindergarten scrapbook, there is a sheet that asks “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. My answer was “Veterinarian.” 

I joined the Pawsitive Veterinary Care team in March 2023 and have been loving every minute of it. My favourite part of working here is the relationships I have built with our team and of course, all the fur babies that trust us to take amazing care of them.
