Meet Lanna, Registered Veterinary Technician

I have been in the animal health field since 2012, working in various hospitals across BC as a veterinary assistant, and volunteering on a few farms. I graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Douglas College in 2016 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician later that summer.

I’ve never been able to label myself as a cat-person or a dog-person, as they both have special places in my heart. I have a very needy and smart border collie/shepherd mix at home named Jax; he loves to visit the clinic and be the door greeter. I also acquired a special-needs kitty, Ellie, from Kelowna Kitten Rescue, who came for her spay and I just had to take her home!  Eddie, also from Kelowna Kitten Rescue joined our family in fall 2022. 

I was born in Kelowna but raised across the country, so I’m very happy to be back home in the beautiful Okanagan. I joined Pawsitive Veterinary Care in January of 2017. I’m very proud of the work we do and love the family I work with!
