Cancellation & No Show Policy

To Our Valued Clients,

At Pawsitive Veterinary Care, we are committed to providing timely, high-quality care for every pet. As demand for veterinary appointments continues to grow, missed appointments and last-minute cancellations make it more difficult for us to accommodate pets who need medical attention.

To help us serve as many pets and families as possible, we have implemented the following appointment policies.

Appointment Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, as well as missed appointments (no-shows), will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Please note that Monday appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled by 9:00 a.m. on the preceding Saturday to avoid the cancellation fee.

Surgery, Dentistry & Procedure Appointments

Procedures requiring anesthesia, including surgeries and dental procedures, require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $200 cancellation fee.

For procedures scheduled on a Monday, cancellations must be made by 9:00 a.m. on the preceding Friday to avoid the cancellation fee.

Late Arrivals

To help ensure every pet receives the time and attention they deserve, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Clients arriving 10 minutes or more after their appointment time may be charged a $25 late fee and/or may need to reschedule their appointment.

We understand that unexpected situations can occur and appreciate your understanding of these policies. Your cooperation helps Pawsitive Veterinary Care provide prompt, compassionate care to all of our patients and allows us to better serve our entire community.
